Only the fields marked with * are the ones you need to fill out. You didn’t need to fill out your billing info.

Unbelievable!!, I don’t mean to be harsh, but C’Mone guys, you have: pause, rwd, ffwd, you can bounce back & forth between the days if you don’t understand something. I’ve just started & have absolutely no experience @ all with this. I too don’t understand some things, but always find the answer by slowing down & going back, or sometimes wait & get it in the next video. And the comments about the WPD, “ITS FREE”, (doesn’t anyone read anything??) Man, O’le Man, I feel for ya Marty

What can i do if i own webspace at a hoster which isn’t accepted by WordPressDirect ?
My WordPress now runs on my 1and1-webspace.
Can I do the 30DC without WordPressDirect ??

my info was asked for, for further billing next month. I thought it was free for the 30DC.
Anyone know what the deal is?

  • EleanorPrior says:

I think I know the answer to my questions just typing outloud ;0) I love customizing my sites and branding them so since my blog is hosted on my cpanel then I should be able to customize the theme… Yes? as I as the question that I think I know the answer to ;0)

  • StoneCS says:

WPD installs your blog on your own hosting in WP. You can access it just like any other WP blog. WPD is just another point of access and used for the auto-posting features.

Also, if you put the 30DC training to use, you should be seeing some sales before it’s over and be able to pay for some of these services if they are the reason for the income.

Does WPD install the latest version of Wordpress? If not, which version is installed?

  • thecoolcook says:

A content wizard is a piece of software that automatically posts content to your site, either yours or someone else’s e.g. article directory material. One of my websites uses one, I don’t know about any other sites.

  • martymuseman says:

TheCool Cook is correct. There is no cost obligation after the Challenge is done, when your account reverts to Free for life. if you wish to keep the Bronze account functions (mostly to do with content posting) then you can opt-in to a paid account. But the account does not automatically bill you. WPD has not even collected any billing info from you.

  • jpondry says:

thecoolcook you need to help me here…newbie can be quite irritating. That’s me. What is content wizard? Please give me some site examples I can go have a better understanding.

  • thecoolcook says:

Well, I checked too using the FAQ section at WPD and it would seem that it is free for life for two websites, but the content wizards are switched off. Since there are other content wizards available that really is no big deal. I was skeptical, but I’m convinced this is a straight up deal. You don’t have to spend anything.

  • jpondry says:

Not true I found the answer last evening it is USD19 a mth for 30D Challenger. Pretty pricey for my pocket especially when I am not having any income.

  • thecoolcook says:

As far as I can tell from the vids it’s free for life but some of the functions will shut down unless you take a paid option. It’s really not very clear.

  • jpondry says:

Anyone know how much we need to pay for this after the trial period?

  • sharronbbw says:

What if your blog takes off but you don’t want to pay the membership fees to keep it going. How would you transfer the WPD to a regular WP without losing data?

  • northshorehc1 says:

Is transfering your data from WPD to Wordpress easy? WIll any data be lossed?

  • jpondry says:

    Thank you mraudo34

  • martymuseman says:

Not really. Both use the free WordPress software, since it is the leading blog platform on the internet. WPD however, installs a WordPress installation that is optimized for marketing and for search engine ranking. There are many small changes required to SEO a vanilla WordPress installation. WPD has other functions too. Use of WPD for the 30DC is free. It saves you the time and bother.

  • mraudo34 says:

    Yes, it’s the same.

  • jpondry says:

Is Wordpress direct the same as Wordpress?
